Three Jamaican teenagers, including two Glenmuir High students, were recently awarded for their entries to the Food4Change Caribbean Regional Story Writing competition. Mikaelia Nesbeth and Neville-Anne Morgan each won a laptop for their submissions on illustrated learning objectives for the Health and Family Life revised curriculum. Congratulations to them both! major medical supplies donation made to jamaican government

Medical supplies costed at US$800,000 have recently been donated to the Jamaican government. Glenmuir alumna Dr Sandra Lindsay, Director of Patient Care at Northwell Health facility in New York, USA, the Office of the Jamaican Prime Minister, MedShare and the Ministry of Health, Jamaica collectively made the donation possible. On the Rolling with Deiwght Peters television show in Jamaica on February 11, Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness acknowledged the significant contribution in the presence of Dr. Lindsay.
